ST. JOHN’S, NL – Thank you to all AJAs entrants!
The Atlantic Journalism Awards Board of Directors would like to thank all Atlantic Canadian journalists who submitted their work this year. This awards competition would not exist without your talent, your commitment to strong local reporting, and your participation in recognizing the stories of people across the East Coast. The awards belong to all of us. We don’t just enter—we are the AJAs.
This year, the AJAs received nearly 200 entries. In a time when journalism communities are shrinking, that is something to be truly proud of.
All submissions have now been sent to our independent judging panel. Over the next month, they will deliberate and make the difficult decisions required to return a list of winners to the Board by April 30. Finalists will be announced shortly after.
